Jason Ramsbottom

Management Accountant

Having grown up in Norwich and after completing his A-levels at City Academy Norwich, Jason joined a well-known accountancy firm in July 2010 as a Junior Accountant. During four and a half years working in the accountancy profession, Jason worked with a variety of businesses and organisations, becoming proficient in Sage accounts, as well as achieving his accreditation as a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians in 2012. Jason joined us in March 2015 as Accounts Administrator and is responsible for daily accounting routines and preparation of monthly management accounts. Outside work, Jason enjoys training in the gym and spending the rest of his free time socialising with friends.

Scott Seager

Head of Engineering

Scott left Norfolk in 1999 and has been working up and down the country in various IT positions. Scott was In his previous role for 8 years in London, working for one of the largest ISP’s in the country. Scott has a young family, is a big music lover and is currently rejuvenating his love of vinyl and building his collection. He is also a keen photographer and camper, attending a number of festivals.

Mark Cobb

Head of Client Services

Born in North London, Mark moved to Dorset at an early age where he spent his formative years before relocating to Norfolk in 2001. He spent 10 years in sales and marketing roles within the food industry before changing careers to move into the Information Technology service market in 2007. Technically qualified in managing Windows networks and servers, Mark now combines his sales and marketing experience with his management and technical knowledge to manage the Solutions Team. Married in 2009, he spends most of his spare time with his young family and their menagerie of animals, as well as enjoying gaming and supporting Arsenal FC.

Rachel Morris

General Manager

Rachel has built a career in account management with a focus on always delivering excellent customer service. Whilst previously working at Brandbank, Rachel progressed through various commercial roles and managed retail clients such as Sainsbury's and Nisa. Outside of work and having recently just got back into the sport, Rachel can be found playing hockey for her local club. She also likes to play badminton and enjoys going to comedy shows.

Michael Crisp

Administration Manager

Having attended Sir John Leman High School in Beccles and after a brief spell working for the family firm, Michael began working with us in 2001 as a Sales Administration Assistant. In 2004 Michael was promoted to Administration Co-ordinator with his main responsibilities including stock control, credit control, invoicing, Microsoft Licensing and maintaining our Microsoft Partner Program. Michael is a St John First Aider and currently Administration Department Manager.

Sam Pudney

Administration Co-ordinator

Having grown up in Cambridge, shortly after completing his A-Levels Sam pursued a career at John Lewis. Throughout his 6 years as a John Lewis Partner, Sam was based in various different roles and departments. After relocating to Norfolk in February 2017 Sam joined us as our new Administration Assistant. Most recently working in an Administration based role he has brought multiple key skills to the team, as well as a high level customer service experience. Outside work, Sam is a semi-professional singer, who regularly performs at various different events for clubs, weddings, parties etc. In his spare time Sam enjoys spending time with his family, going to watch his beloved football team Tottenham Hotspurs, watching superhero shows/movies, playing snooker and darts.

Laszlo Kisfoldi

2nd Line Support Engineer

Laszlo followed his passion for IT by joining our team as a Support Technician in 2014. Bringing with him a wealth of experience in customer service in the hospitality and insurance sectors, and having held management roles in a large restaurant chain, Laszlo is very focused on delivering client satisfaction. His enthusiasm for resolving client issues is backed up with his Comptia A+, N+ and Microsoft certifications. Originally from Hungary, Laszlo has lived in Norwich for 11 years before moving back to his home country and enjoys keeping active at the gym when he is not spending time with his young family.

Karl Casteleiro

Support Team Leader

Karl studied at the Lowestoft Sixth Form College and achieved the highest grade within the BTEC ICT course. Alongside the course Karl volunteered at the Lowestoft Local Links, in which his position was to manage the communication and timetables between the students and managers. Karl’s hobbies are gaming, socialising with friends and improving his technological skills, such as building and managing a homelab server.

Michael Southgate

Support Team Leader

Michael joined us as a Support Technician, after spending 2 years as a Support Technician in the legal industry. He has completed an ITQ as part of an apprenticeship, and is now working towards attaining CompTIA A+ and N+ qualifications. Outside of work, Michael enjoys gaming, building computer systems, and watching sci-fi shows, as well as having a keen interest in rock climbing and swimming.

Dominic Davie

2nd Line Support Technician

Dominic studied at Wymondham Sixth Form, achieving A-levels in maths, further maths, and physics. After several years of experience in a customer service and IT role, he joined us as a Support Apprentice. Outside of work, he is a RYA qualified sailor and has a keen interest in hiking, traveling, and gaming.

Steven Rose

2nd Line Support Technician

Steven has joined the company with extensive experience in customer service. IT has been a passion of his since a very young age and he has a vast array of self-taught knowledge alongside an AVCE completed at City College. He is currently studying for his A+ and N+ certifications. Outside of work he is a keen football fan and enjoys attending matches while also watching on TV. Steven’s other hobbies include gaming, a love of music, walking the dog and spending time with his family.

James Ehren

Support Team Leader

James previously spent 16 years in mobile telecoms within the retail industry and held various management positions during this time. He has a wealth of customer experience from delivery of solutions through to end user support, and has always had a passion for technology. Having decided to pursue his own personal aspirations to find a role in IT, he studied to achieve his CompTIA A+ certification along with graduating from his IT Technician Traineeship. Outside of work James enjoys spending time with his family, online gaming, listening to music and expanding his Lego collection.

Lee Garland

2nd Line Support Technician

Lee studied physics at the University of Leicester achieving a first class Masters degree. He joined the company in 2021, having previously worked in veterinary histology before deciding to change his career and pursue his passion for IT. Lee’s hobbies include playing badminton, pool and snooker, building PCs and gaming.

Prior to joining us, Andrew worked for a Cloud Telecommunication provider within the Healthcare Sector. Having always been passionate about delivering excellent customer service, he brings 14 years of experience to the team. Outside of work Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, seeing family and friends, and going out for walks at National trust sites.

Ian Arnold

1st Line Support Technician

Ian joined the company after a long career in customer facing service and support roles. After changes in his personal life allowed him the luxury of more free time, Ian decided that this was his chance to retrain and to turn his passion for building PCs and IT support into a career path. In his spare time, Ian will normally be playing the drums or singing for a myriad of bands across a wide range of musical genres.

Leigh Grant

1st Line Support Technician

Leigh has over 17 years of experience working in the care industry and nearly 3 as both a delivery driver and customer service assistant. After completing his degree in Computer Science with the University of Suffolk, he joined us in June 2022 and is now studying for the CompTIA A+ and Network+ courses. He enjoys gaming, movies and spending time with his family on dog walks, along the many beaches Norfolk and Suffolk have to offer.

Maria Patsia

1st Line Support Technician

Maria studied History at the University of York and then carried out further studies to obtain a Graduate Diploma in Law and LLM (Masters) at BPP University. Having spent 4 years working within Conveyancing, Maria decided to change careers in order to pursue her passion for IT. Outside of work her hobbies include sports, regularly playing pool and snooker. Maria also enjoys gaming and board games.

Daniel Longlands

After completing a Level 3 college course in IT and having gained work experience within a support desk environment, Daniel joined the business to start a career within the IT industry. In his spare time, Daniel enjoys 3D modelling and design, as well as a variety of sports such as mountain biking and hiking.

Sam Johnson

Support Apprentice

Having studied Mechanical Engineering for 1 year and Information Technology for 2 years in City College Norwich, Sam became a freelance video editor with a customer base stretching across multiple countries. Joining us as a Support Apprentice, this allowed Sam to focus and develop his skillset in IT whilst still enjoying video editing as a hobby. Sam's other interests include digital music production and playing in video game tournaments.

George Allison

1st Line Support Technician

George studied at Easton & Otley college where he achieved a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport. During his time working in the hospitality industry, George decided to complete an IT Technician Traineeship and achieve his CompTIA A+ certification which led to him holding two separate IT roles within the NHS. Outside of work he enjoys football, gaming and travelling.

Henry Cutting

1st Line Support Technician

Henry studied at the University of Lincoln gaining a degree in Computer Science. He joined Acora One to apply skills learnt from University in the IT environment and to further his knowledge. In his free time, Henry enjoys watching and playing American Football as well as playing other sports such as Squash.

Simon Atkinson

1st Line Support Technician

Simon has long had a keen interest in science & technology and has been working in the industry for nearly 20 years having moved into the field of IT support from his original Uni basing in Astrophysics. He has been with Acora One (formerly Westgate IT) working to maintain the highest standard of support to clients since 2015. In his spare time, he is an avid fan of tabletop wargaming and also enjoys playing Baseball.

John Gbel

Service Operations Manager

John has been working for MSPs since the 90s; working in Support, Installations, Compliance, and various Senior Management positions. Working with a customer-first mentality he believes that forming strong relationships is key to providing exceptional service. John enjoys building teams and developing talent in homage to those that have mentored him. This has been recognised by winning the Acora ‘Coach of the Year’ award in both 2021 and 2022. In his spare time, John can be found with his family, on the golf course or out on his motorcycle.

Lucas Hopp

Support Team Leader

Prior to working in the IT support industry, Lucas had years of experience working on customer service/sales-based roles, all within the City of Bath. Having proven his worth on the support desk, Lucas moved into management, successfully managing a support team. In his personal life, Lucas has a wide range of interests ranging from gaming to swimming. He also enjoys long walks on the beach and getting caught in the rain.

Ben Clarke

2nd Line Support Technician

In October 2020, Ben joined us as a 1st line technician, bringing with him 3 years of valuable IT experience from the education sector. He has since advanced to a 2nd line role and has his sights set on conquering the CompTIA Network+ exam in the near future. Beyond office hours, you'll typically find him teeing off on the golf course, casting lines for a day of fishing, unwinding with friends at the local pub or shouting at the television during an Arsenal match.

Calum Firth

2nd Line Support Technician

After working as a Chef for 3 years, Calum decided to switch to the IT industry. He joined the Westgate team as a trainee 5 years ago and has continued to grow in Acora One. Calum is currently working on getting CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications to further his IT skills. Outside of work, Calum has a variety of hobbies. He's a fan of Airsoft and Paintball, enjoying thrilling battles with friends. He also spends a lot of time playing online games, exploring different virtual worlds. During free weekends, he likes to go camping, enjoying the outdoors with his dog.

Carl Walker

1st Line Support Technician

After a successful 7 year career as an electrician, Carl made a career shift in 2022, driven by his longstanding fascination with the IT industry. He is currently dedicated to expanding his IT expertise, actively pursuing certifications in CompTIA A+ and Network+. Outside of the workplace, Carl is an avid fitness enthusiast with a particular passion for running, regularly conquering miles to stay in top shape. Additionally, he thrives on spending extensive hours immersed in online gaming.

David Pengelly

Dave has spent the last 3 years contributing his skills and dedication to the company on 1st line. When he's not hard at work, Dave's passions include indulging in the world of PC gaming and movies (some favourites being In Bruges and The Shawshank Redemption). With a blend of professional expertise and a penchant for entertainment, Dave brings a well-rounded perspective to both his career and leisure pursuits.

Henry Davey embarked on his journey at Westgate IT in 2018, starting as a 1st Line Trainee and steadily advancing to become a seasoned 2nd Line Support Engineer, accumulating 5 years of valuable experience along the way. In his role, Henry excels at providing comprehensive IT support, leveraging his problem-solving skills and effective communication to assist clients. Beyond work, he finds joy in his spare time through gaming and cooking.

Kyle Walton

Starting as an IT Trainee in 2022, Kyle has evolved into a skilled IT engineer. His knack for problem-solving and technical aptitude serves him well as a 1st Line Technician at Acora One. When the work day ends, you'll find Kyle immersed in his passions: conquering virtual worlds as a dedicated gamer, infusing energy into the dance floor as an enthusiastic raver, and staying committed to his fitness journey at the gym. After working as both a Chef and a Photographer, Mike embarked on his IT journey at Westgate IT in 2016, starting as an Apprentice. Over the years, he has advanced to the position of 2nd Line IT Support. Outside of work, Mike pursues his passions, which include creating music, capturing moments through photography, and indulging in mountain biking.

Now approaching 20 years in his IT career, Nathan has a plethora of experience in helping clients get the most from their IT. Born in South London, Ashley moved to Norwich in 2021 with his wife. He joined us at the beginning of 2024, having previously worked for another Norfolk-based MSP. Prior to that, he worked at Chelsea Football Club for 18 years, where he progressed through the IT support ranks from being a 1st and then 2nd Line Technical Support Engineer, eventually becoming their IT Service Delivery Manager—a hybrid role he held for 3 years. Ashley combines his technical background with his passion for providing excellent customer service and manages our Support Department. When he isn’t spending time with his wife and daughter, he can be found either watching his beloved Manchester United on TV, in the gym working on his fitness, or at the cinema.

Senior Developer

Chris joined the team in February 2019 as a Cloud Developer but prior to this, he spent 15 years working as a Management Accountant. His last role, at a North Norfolk Seafood Company, gradually transitioned from one based in accounting to a system management role designing, developing and implementing software aimed at helping the company run more efficiently. Outside of work, Chris is an avid supporter of Norwich City FC but his main love is spending quality time with his young family.

Stuart Simpson

Stuart joined the team in August 2022 as a Software Apprentice. Before working for us, Stuart spent 10 years working with survival equipment at Saxon Air at Norwich Airport. In recent years he’s been focused on a career change by studying computer science/software programming courses to become a full stack developer. Outside of work Stuart enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, gaming and writing book reviews.

Harry Ramsbottom

Growing up in Norwich, Harry pursued his passion in the gaming sector by achieving his degree (BA Hons: Games Art and Design) at the Norwich University of the Arts. He joined the company in 2022, keen to develop within the IT sector and expand upon his coding knowledge. Outside of work, Harry hobbies include going to the gym, playing games and modelling 3D props.

Leon Jaffé

Account Manager

Leon moved to Stalham in his childhood and attended Stalham High School. Before working in IT, Leon worked in the financial services sector for several market leading firms. Leon joined our Solutions team in July 2008 as an Account Manager and is responsible for ensuring our customers’ IT requirements are fulfilled. Leon’s role includes discussing IT solutions and strategy as our customers’ IT needs change and grow. Leon is a Microsoft Licensing Sales Specialist which allows him to ensure that we offer the best and most cost effective licensing model to each of our valued clients.

Emily Goodey

After completing a BA Hons Degree in business studies at the University of Plymouth, Emily has established a strong customer service career with market leading companies before joining the business in 2016. Following time with Amazon as an assistant buyer during her earlier career, Emily now brings with her key account management skills as a customer experience manager with Brandbank. A keen runner outside of work Emily enjoys travelling and taking in different cultures, especially the music.

Kimberley Fairhurst

Kimberley moved back to her hometown in Norfolk after spending a number of years living in Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire following the completion of her Law Degree at the University of Lincoln. In 2012 Kimberley started her career in IT by working on the Helpdesk team for a Software company in Nottingham, and progressed into a Technical Account Management role. Along with Kimberley’s wealth of knowledge and experience, she also has a real passion for ensuring an excellent customer experience is received. Outside of work Kimberley particularly enjoys experiencing a broad range of food, culture and music from various festivals and events around the world.

Dexter Derry

Since completing a Masters degree in Chemistry at The University of Nottingham in 2010, Dexter has adopted a variety of customer service, communications technology and project management roles. Before starting with us he managed project delivery as the Head of Business Operations for a cloud communications provider within the healthcare sector. In his spare time, he enjoys watching movies and gaming. He has also hiked several long distance walks, such as Coast-to-Coast and the South Downs Way, as fund raising events for charity.

Macauley Partridge

Account Manager

Macauley spent 6 years working for a leading IT distributor, learning vast amounts about the industry before joining the team in 2021 . Now working as an Account Manager within the Solutions team, he has an ethos of providing excellent customer service. Macauley is a supporter of Newcastle United and likes to spend his spare time on a golf course or going to live music events.

Sophie Roberts

Sophie moved from East Sussex to Norwich in 2016 and has over 10 years customer service experience, including 5 years developing and operating a small business. Joining the Solutions team in 2022, she brings her enthusiasm for exceptional customer service and a passion for the technology sector to the role. Outside of the office, Sophie enjoys gaming, listening to vinyl and exploring the Norfolk countryside with her partner and dog.

Matt Smith

Account Manager

Matt became part of our team in August 2023 as an Account Manager within our growing Solutions team. With an enviable track record within the property industry and investment markets, he provides an extensive wealth of customer service & sales experience that he has gained over his career spanning 20 years. Matt gained his vital skills and knowledge in the UK and Middle East as an estate agent and investment relations manager. He is familiar with IT having played an integral role within a prop tech start up, which has enabled him to develop a high level of customer service. In his spare time, Matt is a keen runner who has raced in a few charity events over the years. He loves football, his support lies with Arsenal FC, regularly watching them play. He enjoys spending time with his family along with gaming and he's a bit of a movie buff!

David Selwyn

David embarked on his professional journey after completing his education, training as an electronics and computer engineer. His route to Account Management was via field technical support and then strategic technical and service account management. David has garnered extensive experience through his work with a diverse range of companies across various sectors, with a particular emphasis on Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Networks, and Storage. He is deeply passionate about delivering excellence in customer experience, leveraging technology to foster inclusion and benefit society in a responsible and sustainable manner. Beyond his professional commitments, David is actively involved in mentoring and coaching students in STEM subjects at universities and colleges, aiming to inspire the next generation. David finds joy in cycling and mountain walking, indulging in his love for music, and pursuing his interest in motorcycling.

Jason started work for the business as a member of our Support team in October 2005. With a total of twelve years’ prior experience in the IT industry, he worked as an IT Engineer for a large national company. Having gained his A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer 2000 and Avaya phone systems certifications.

Adam Spencer

Junior Installations Technician

Adam has recently left higher education completing his ICT BTEC with a distinction star. Adam joined the company in September 2014 as an apprentice, aiming to complete his apprenticeship as well as the CompTIA A+ within his first year. Recently, Adam won a competition with ASUS ROG for his custom water-cooled PC. In his spare time, he teaches karate to all levels and ages several evenings a week. Adam achieved his 1st dan Shotokan karate black belt at the age of 11 and 2nd dan at the age of 13. He is also a keen online gamer.

Shannon Smith

Shannon joined the team after completing her BTEC level 2 Diploma in IT and Telecoms via an apprenticeship. Previous to Shannon’s apprenticeship, she completed AS levels in Spanish, Psychology and Photography. Shannon still has a keen interest in photography and Spanish, spending her spare time taking and editing photos or brushing up on her Spanish. Shannon also likes spending her spare time gaming, attending comic cons and socialising with friends.

2nd Line Support Engineer Jason has followed his passion for IT by joining our support team and after working for over a year in our 1st line team he has progressed in to our 2nd line team. Jason brings a wealth of customer services experience having worked at a national financial provider for eight years prior to joining us. Jason has completed his CompTIA A+ & N+ certifications and has recently completed his Microsoft Server 2016 certifications making him a Microsoft Certified Professional & Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate. Jason loves most sports, in his spare time he enjoys karting, snowboarding and spending time with family & friends.

Jade Dunn

Delivery Coordinator

Before moving to Norfolk in 2021, Jade studied a Business Management course at Highbury college and then furthered her education with a Higher-level Project Management apprenticeship. Having previously worked in customer facing roles managing accounts for high profile clients, Jade is keen to focus on delivering excellent customer service. Outside of work jade enjoys socialising with friends and likes to keep active by walking or going to the gym.

Zach Lewis

Zach studied at City College Norwich, completing a two year Diploma in IT obtaining a Double Distinction Merit. Alongside this he had a part time job at a local computer sales company refurbishing laptops and desktops ready for them to be resold. He originally joined us as an IT Support Apprentice. Outside of work, he likes fishing, riding his quad bike and working on cars.

Connor Martin

Born in Norwich, Connor pursued his passion for IT by joining a well-respected Accountancy firm as an IT Helpdesk Trainee in 2019. Fuelled by his dedication to learning and self-improvement, he has advanced through 1st and 2nd line support across different MSPs in Norfolk. Due to Connor’s primary interests of Networking & Infrastructure, he has completed his CompTIA Network+ certification, and is currently working on his AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator certification. When he is not working, he finds joy in gaming, working out at the gym, and snowboarding.

Richard Garner

Cyber Security Manager

Richard joined our support team in August 2004 and has held numerous technical roles within the business since, building a wealth of knowledge and experience in almost every area of the industry. This knowledge and experience enabled him to launch our dedicated Cyber Security team in 2021. He holds the prestigious ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) qualification, along with CompTIA Security Analytics Professional (CSAP) and Microsoft Enterprise Administrator Expert certifications.

Matt Williamson

Cyber Security Analyst

Matt began his IT career at Acora One in 2018 when he was still completing his Level 3 Diploma in IT. Since joining, he has travelled around the country visiting client sites. He has undertaken a number of roles since joining as a Trainee from a Junior to a Senior Engineer, heading the management of our clients Cyber Security in Bath and most recently, acting as the primary point of contact for cyber incidents between our Support and our Cyber Security teams. He has achieved further qualifications while working at Acora One and is aiming to do a master’s equivalent level soon. Outside of the office he is a big enjoyer of the outdoors, with a keen interest in topics like history, geopolitics, and of course cyber security and internet privacy. He also likes to celebrate as hard as he works.

Kyle Halliday

Joining our Cyber Security team in April 24, Kyle brings a wealth of expertise to the team. Currently advancing towards CompTIA Sec+ and CCSK certifications, Kyle is committed to staying at the forefront of cyber security developments. Beyond the realm of digital defence, Kyle finds joy in mountain biking adventures, building a vinyl collection, immersing in video games, and indulging in the allure of terrible B-movies.

Daniel Gallant

Infrastructure Engineer

Daniel completed his Level 5 BTEC Higher National Diploma in Computing and has since completed his CCNA1, CompTia A+ and N+. Daniel previously worked at a large car manufacturer in Norfolk and is used to working with complex IT systems, including those of the car manufacturer's Formula 1 team. Since working with us, Daniel has progressed to becoming an Infrastructure Engineer.

Daniel grew up in South Norfolk and attended East Norfolk 6th Form College where he attained a BTEC National Diploma in IT and a CCNA in Routing & Switching. Since 2007, Daniel has obtained a plethora of experience in marketing across many sectors and is currently working towards a L7 qualification. His role at Acora One consists of managing our marketing strategy and execution. Prior to this, he co-founded and built a successful prop-tech start-up in Norwich. In his spare time, Daniel is Chair of a local grassroots football club, Brundall Bolts, that he co-founded in 2021 and is a coach for their U11 girls team.
