Role Outline

You will be responsible for the installation and documentation of IT systems and networks for small works projects working both at the office and customer sites, whilst ensuring customer communication and satisfaction is upheld.

Activities include but are not limited to, Laptop and Computer Deployment, Printer Setups, assistance to larger project work, Office 365 and telephony deployments, collaborating with internal teams whilst understanding customer needs and ensuring successful delivery of projects. You will be required to work with fellow team members as well as liaising with customers on projects and financial matters.

  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Working with Engineers on larger projects

Key Responsibilities

Activities include but are not limited to:

  • Case management
  • Delivering small works
  • Attending client sites for installations
  • Networking and Office 365 and telephony deployments
  • Attending client meetings (where required)
  • Highlighting and identifying customer improvements to the Account Manager and other departments

Role Deliverables

Your performance will be measured by:

  • Achieving all relevant KPIs
  • Ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Work towards Tasks and Objectives agreed

Qualifications

Essential

  • GCSE English C grade (or equivalent) and above
  • GCSE Maths C grade (or equivalent) and above
  • CompTIA A+
  • CompTIA Network+
  • Full clean Driving Licence

Desirable

  • Microsoft Associate Certification
  • Microsoft Expert Certification

Experience

Essential

  • At least 3 years’ experience working within an internal or outsourced IT department
  • Knowledge of current Microsoft Operating Systems
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365
  • Understanding of IP based networks

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Linux Operating Systems
  • Knowledge of VLANs / Firewalls

Within this role you may be required to:

  • Stay away overnight to ensure the prompt start of customer work or if it is too late to return back
  • Travel to customer sites and drive the company vehicles
  • Complete additional hours on an ad-hoc basis to cover any project work that cannot be carried out during the clients working hours which can include weekend work
